My current research mainly focuses on the field of ultracold atoms. The temperature of ultracold atoms is close to absolute zero, and they can be used in a variety of research and application areas, including quantum computing, quantum communication, precision measurement, quantum simulation, and more. In addition, ultracold atoms can also be used to simulate quantum systems and study condensed matter physics. Before coming to HKUST(GZ), I mainly studied theoretical aspects, and the process of transitioning from theory to experiment has given me a more concrete understanding of the research content. At the Center for Quantum Science and Technology (QSTC) here, I have not only learned how to conduct experiments, but more importantly, I have learned how to translate theoretical knowledge into practical operation. In this process, I have also realized the complementarity and importance of theory and practice. In addition, in my research, I have also learned new modeling and programming skills, which will help me conduct better research and play an important role in future work. Within the research group, discussing with group members with different educational backgrounds has broadened my thinking and deepened my understanding of the current research field. Such communication has benefited me greatly. I realize that diverse thinking and knowledge are very important for research. At HKUST (GZ), it is easy for us to achieve this multidimensional learning. This learning environment makes me feel very fortunate, and I will continue to work hard, constantly expanding my knowledge and perspective, and preparing for future research work.
